1962, USA: PRESIDENT TOURS: KENNEDY INSPECTS NUCLEAR BASES: The S A C Post in Omaha and the "Project Rover" center in Los Alamos are visited by President Kennedy. At S A C he presents a plaque recognizing the flights made during the Cuban crisis. At Los Alamos he sees the steps accomplished in developing nuclear power for rockets to outer space.
