Description
Danish bill aiming to deter migrants "discriminatory": Amnesty Denmark's parliament is debating a controversial bill aiming to make the Scandinavian country a less attractive destination for refugees. Amendments would include granting some refugees a lower form of protection status, forcing them to wait longer to apply for family reunifications as well as confiscating valuables and cash from migrants. Amnesty International says such measures are "selfish", "discriminatory" and breaches the refugees' "right to family life". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
