Congolese President attends opening of new tropical agriculture laboratory President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo inaugurates a new agricultural laboratory in South Kivu, run by the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA). Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo was also in attendance, the laboratory having been named after him for his efforts "to boost the agriculture sector in sub-Saharan Africa in general", according to the IITA.
