In Senegal, a Dakar research centre readies itself against novel coronavirus In Dakar, the Pasteur Institute, a major biomedical research centre in Africa has been readying for the novel coronavirus. Fifteen African countries will meet from 6 to 8 February 2019 in the Senegalese capital for a workshop organised by the Pasteur Institute and the African Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) to share tips in the prevention and diagnosis of viral diseases such as coronaviruses.
