Description
Belarusian sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya, who has been granted a humanitarian visa by Poland after she refused to return to Belarus from the Tokyo Olympics, tells AFP during an interview in Warsaw that 'a lot has changed' in Belarus over the last year. 'People are more afraid for their lives, more afraid for their safety' she says. When asked if she would like to return to her homeland, the sprinter says she will be ready to return when it is 'safe and free' and that it 'probably' can only be free without strongman President Alexander Lukashenko.
