It was the 2nd production of the year at the San Diego Starlight Opera. Brigadoon starred Jean Whelan and Mike Bogle in romantic leads, with Leslie Cozzens, Martha Gene, Charlie Cannon, Jerry Sullivan, Dix Brown and Jim Smock in supporting roles. More than 200 members of Scottish clans living in San Diego, dressed in kilts performed. They were accompanied by a 32 piece bagpipe band.
