A Belgian court reduces a police officer's suspended sentence from 12 to 10 months for fatally shooting a Kurdish toddler during a chase of a van carrying migrants. Victor-Manuel Jacinto Goncalves, 49, was found guilty in February of involuntary homicide for opening fire on a vehicle and handed a one-year suspended sentence and a 400-euro fine. The appeals court reduced his suspended sentence to 10 months but upheld the fine. But according to Mawda's parents' lawyer, Selma Benkhelifa, 'justice has not been completely served'.
