Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) are calling on the UK government to tighten regulations over sewage outflow into the ocean from British water companies, as more wild swimmers, surfers and beach goers are complaining about raw sewage being dumped into rivers and the sea. SAS claim water companies are using combined sewage outlets in excess of 5000 times per year, far exceeded regulations. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
