Description
Lovelorn Thais flock Hindu Trimutri shrine to pray for love on Valentine's Day, using red roses, red incense sticks and red candles as offerings to the Hindu Gods. The shrine represents three aspects of Hindu gods -- Brahma the creator, Vishnu the sustainer and Siva the destroyer -- in their combined entity they turn into Lord Trimutri who represents love and harmony. Many single Thais believe that by offering tributes to the trinity of Gods, their prayers for finding true love would get answered. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
