Description
A Scottish charity shop is flooded with donations for Ukrainian refugees after a plea was issued on social media at the weekend. Residents of the town of Mauchline in the west of Scotland have been arriving with boxes and bags of clothes, blankets and food since Sunday. By Monday they had managed to fill several lorries and vans, one of them containing a box full of food that driver Peter Farell describes as "bigger than myself". A truck containing the collections will travel to Poland to deliver the items on Tuesday. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
