Description
Fernando Saez, the president of the Foundation that administrates the legacy of Chilean poet and Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda, says they are in a "complex" financial situation. The foundation has made a request for financial aid to preserve the three houses Neruda built or remodelled, which due to the pandemic were forced to close for two years and afterwards were reopened following health restrictions. Nowadays, they receive only 15% of the visits they had before. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
