PROFILE of Daniel Quintero, who has been suspended from his post as mayor of Medellin as Colombian authorities investigate an alleged violation of the rule that prevents him from intervening in the campaign for the May 29 presidential election. The Procurator General's Office has temporarily removed Quintero from his functions, after the publication of a video in which he sends an implicit message of support for leftist candidate Gustavo Petro, favourite in the polls.
