In Toulouse one of the largest swimming pools in Europe is drained at the end of the summer season like every year. For the first time this year, six million litres of water are reused to water green spaces. On the Ile du Ramier, surrounded by the Garonne, water pumps and tank trucks are gradually emptying the water from the Alfred Nakache municipal summer swimming pool, which has turned green after its chlorine treatment was stopped.
