Description
A jersey worn by basketball legend Michael Jordan during Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals, his last title victory, could fetch $5 million and become "the most expensive basketball jersey at auction" as it goes under the hammer this week at Sotheby's. "It's quite a high price, but it's also an exceptional item," notes Brahm Wachter, Sotheby's Head of Streetwear and Modern Collectables. "This is really one of the rarest and most coveted items that you could bring to market," he adds. The online auction runs from September 6-14. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
