Description
Afghans receive food packages distributed by NGO Aseel App in Kabul.
Following a government order banning Afghan women from aid work, some NGOs have suspended their activities, but Aseel App tries to maintain their operations, despite some difficulties reaching women on the ground. "You can tell every one of your problems to a woman; she can solve your problem and you can share what’s inside your heart. But you can’t tell anything to a man,” sighs Parveen, explaining the importance of having female aid workers.
