STOCKSHOTS of the mining city of Kiruna, located above the Arctic Circle in Sweden, as Europe's largest known deposit of rare earth elements is discovered in its region. According to Swedish mining company LKAB, Kiruna's region contains more than one million tons of rare earth oxides. STOCKSHOTS
