Description
For the first time in the United States, dozens of Ukrainian artists in exile from the national theaters of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, and others, take to the stage of DC's Kennedy Center after having escaped the Russian invasion of their home country. The premiere of their interpretation of "Giselle," which was created by Ukrainian choreographer Alexei Ratmansky, ended with Ukrainian flags and the Ukrainian national anthem. The United Ukrainian Ballet is based in The Hague, and its dancers have previously performed in the Netherlands and London. IMAGES
