Description
For almost a year, the Lindgården retirement home in the Swedish countryside, home to 56 people between the ages of 65 and 100, has been offering a sexual health programme to "meet the sexual needs" of its residents, the home's head Liselott Klang says. Each resident is offered an informal discussion on intimacy and desire as soon as they arrive. "Sexual health is not just about sex, it's about intimacy and closeness," Liselott explains. To make the seniors feel more comfortable, the establishment has put together a "pleasure basket" with creams and sex toys the residents can buy. The basket contains, among other things, a "Please do not disturb" sign, various creams and lubricants, dildos, penis pumps and penis rings. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
