Description
Bulgarians say they hope for a stable government at last as they head to the polls in the fifth general election in the country in two years. Boyan Sapunov, a 79-year-old voter in Sofia, wants "a government that would last a little longer than the previous parliaments". Bulgaria, the EU's poorest member, is traditionally close with Moscow, but has been divided by the war in Ukraine, which has exacerbated the state's political turmoil. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
