Description
Around 320 Sudanese soldiers who fled the fighting raging in their country to neighbouring Chad, were disarmed and detained says the country's defence minister.
"On Sunday we had Sudanese, the Sudanese internal security force that penetrated our country, and as you know, we took all the necessary measures to disarm and detain them," General Daoud Yaya Brahim tells a press conference, adding the troops feared being killed by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) battling those of army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
