Description
Dancers from the United Ukrainian Ballet rehearse on stage as they prepare for a two-day performance in Taiwan.
The dance company, which was established after Russia invaded, consists of dancers from all over Ukraine and performs in various countries "to show our culture, to show that we exist" says one dancer.
The Ukrainian ballet company recently decided to cancel Russian composer Tschaikovsky's "Swan Lake" in their Taiwan performance because people in Ukraine think that "it’s not appropriate to dance a Russian repertoire" as the war intensifies in the country. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
