Description
Activities have resumed at the port of Mutsamudu on the island of Anjouan, where Mohamed Said Salim Dahalani, general manager of the Comorian ports company, says that no directive from the state had reached him and that "anyone entering a port must be identified", at the risk of sending them back to where they came from. The maritime link between Mayotte and Anjouan was officially suspended last Monday for work by the commander of the port of Mutsamudu. But the closure was interpreted more as a way for the Comorian authorities to obstruct the Wuambushu operation for which it is opposed. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
