Description
After a swarm of drones hit Moscow high-rises in an unprecedented attack, residents from one of the city's affected areas tell AFP they are "surprised" and concerned at the irruption of the Ukraine conflict into their daily lives. "It's an unpleasant surprise that it could happen to us. I thought that it was far away, that it did not concern us and then suddenly it came to us," says Tatyana Kalinina, a pensioner who lives close to one of the Moscow high-rise buildings that was hit. The Russian defence ministry has blamed Kyiv for the attacks that saw three drones crash into residential buildings. Officials have said no one was seriously injured and there was only "minor" damage to buildings.
