London-based political analyst Tony Travers says the arrest of Scotland's former leader Nicola Sturgeon will damage the Scottish National Party (SNP)'s drive for Scottish independence. "I think it's a very bad look for the SNP... for her to end up in this position, it makes independence that much less likely into the immediate future," Travers says. Though she insists that she had done nothing wrong, Sturgeon's brief arrest on Sunday as part of a financial probe into the SNP capped a spectacular fall from grace for the woman once dubbed by media as the "Queen of Scots."
