Sri Lanka customs authorities destroy 203 million smuggled cigarettes worth an estimated $50 million following their biggest single bust of illegally imported tobacco products. The cigarettes were dumped into a garbage pit that fuels a waste-to-power electricity generator at Kerawalapitiya, just outside the capital Colombo on Thursday. A customs spokesman said the fags were seized earlier this month after being imported from Dubai and the 21 containers carried brands from Turkey, Europe and the United States.
