Description
Former South African president Jacob Zuma attends an event organised by the Umkhonto We Sizwe (MK) party in Soweto, at which he announces that he is "not going to vote for the ANC" at national elections in 2024. Zuma calls for a boycott of the ruling ANC, with the party's popularity damaged by daily power cuts, repeated corruption scandals, rising crime figures and a flagging economy. "I realised this is not the country I fought for" says the 81-year-old. IMAGES
