Polls close at a voting centre in the heart of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo's volatile east. Forty-four million people are registered to vote in the concurrent presidential, parliamentary, provincial and municipal elections in the central African nation but mistrust among voters is rife in Goma, a city almost surrounded by M23 rebels.
