Dozens of migrants cross the Rio Grande from Mexico into the United States after Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said that visiting US officials had agreed to keep legal border crossings open. The decision followed discussions between Lopez Obrador and top US officials including Secretary of State Anthony Blinken aimed at addressing surging migration. Among those crossing from Ciudad Juarez into El Paso, Texas, are 27-year-old Colombian Manuel Bianco and her dog Kiara, who he found abandoned on a train and decided to keep. "I've been taking care of her for almost two months and if they let both of us in, I'll keep her," Bianco tells AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
