Description
On Taipei's metro, pets usually have to travel in strollers, but this Sunday, they were allowed to roam around and stretch their paws on special rides.
"We have a lot of fun. Previously, when taking the metro, Tonku (name of the dog) had to stay in a stroller, and he was quite anxious in the stroller. Today, he can come out, so he's very happy taking the metro," pet owner Astrid Lin says.
Taipei Rapid Transit Corp.(TRTC) said four special pet-friendly trains ran a total of 16 trips on Sunday, with an estimation of 270 dogs and 30 cats. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
