An art company based in north England has created a giant piece of artwork on a Yorkshire hillside for this year’s Earth Day. Over three days, using football pitch paint and sprayers, a team of ten people created a roughly 50m long image of a smiling girl holding a globe, next to the words: Vote for CLIMATE, Vote for OUR FUTURE. "She's smiling, so she's optimistic because this year it's the UK elections and it's an opportunity for us to make a real difference to our children's future," says Jamie Wardley, who led the project.
