Londoners share their thoughts after members of parliament voted to pass the Safety of Rwanda bill, the UK government's latest attempt to deport asylum seekers to the East African country as part of efforts to cut irregular immigration. "I'm embarrassed to live in a country that would pass a law like that. I think it's appalling", says retiree Catherine Phillips. Another London resident, Ralph Candlish, says he backs the government, saying "it's a sad situation, but we can't continue to allow foreigners to just invade the country". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
