Spanish oil company Repsol has received a licence from the United States to operate in sanctioned Venezuela, the president of state-owned PDVSA, Pedro Tellechea, says in Caracas. The two companies signed an agreement to increase joint oil and gas production on April 17, the same day Washington announced the end of the oil embargo on Venezuela because of questions related to the July 28 elections.
