A DR Congo military court will continue to try 51 people over an alleged coup bid, rejecting on Tuesday calls from the defendants' lawyers to drop the case. The lawyers had called on the military court to declare itself "incompetent" to try the defendants, who are all civilians, over a failed coup bid that took place on May 19 in capital city Kinshasa.
