In Bangkok, supporters of Thailand's Move Forward Party, the country's main opposition party, react to its dissolution by the Thai constitutional court on August 7. One supporter says "Thai history has shown that the constitutional court never sides with the party that represents the people." The court's decision not only dissolved the party but also banned its leader and most popular politician Pita Limjaroenrat, over his attempt to reform the kingdom's archaic royal defamation laws.
