SHORT PROFILE of Belgian cartoonist Philippe Geluck, famous for his character "Le Chat" (The Cat, ed.). The popular illustrator behind the comic strip series of the same name was born in 1954 in Brussels. He created the famous cartoon character 29 years later after a request from the Belgian daily newspaper "Le Soir". The artist is also a well known writer and actor, according to "Le Chat's" website.
