Britain and South Africa have agreed to "deepen" collaboration on defence and trade, the two countries foreign ministers say after holding talks in Cape Town. "We have reiterated our resolve to continue working together to remove obstacles to bilateral and regional trade and investment," says Ronald Lamola, South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation. "We've agreed to deepen our collaboration on defence security through defence staff talks and greater collaboration on counter-terrorism particularly," says British foreign secretary David Lammy.
