A crude oil painting by England-based artist Banksy which belongs to a member of punk band blink-182, will be auctioned off in Sotheby's Modern & Contemporary Evening Sale on 4 March in London. The piece is estimated to sell for 3 to 5 million pounds. "It's got a fabulous owner, it's got impeccable exhibition history, it's hand-painted, and the subject is more urgent now than ever before," says Mackie Hayden-Cook, contemporary art specialist at Sotheby's.
