Cardboard dolls, or "ninots", burn in the streets of Valencia on the last night of the Fallas festival, a tradition known as La Crema to end the five-day celebration. This year's celebration of the festival, which pays tribute to Saint Joseph, the patron saint of the carpenters' guild, comes a few months after historic floods devastated the Spanish city, killing at least 225 people.
