As the rescue operation continues in Florida in the wake of Hurricane Milton, hundreds of people have been rescued from floodwaters. So too, have dozens of animals, including a pig who has affectionately been named Millie. Cindy Evers, a local resident says she has assisted in the rescue of a donkey and several goats. Milton's heavy rains are still causing problems. Crews from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office were assisting with rescues of people stranded in rising waters along the Alafia River on Friday morning.
