November 1993 Larry Himmel flew all the way to New York City to find the new CBS star of Late Night...David Letterman! The two were old pals from their days at the Comedy Store in La Jolla where Larry was emcee and Dave was a rising comedian in the 1970s. He went through some hoops but had fun along the way chatting with Paul Shaffer, Rupert G, Will Leigh, band member, producer Robert Morgan...and finally, Letterman. It was a sweet and funny reunion--of course.
