A fire erupted at Walt Disney World’s Epcot park near Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, March 22, sending a dark plume of smoke over a French-themed pavilion in the park’s World Showcase area. Footage filmed by Courtney Mascarella-Jones shows thick smoke rising above the pavilion. Citing a Walt Disney World spokesperson, local media reported that the blaze ignited in a walk-in cooler backstage and prompted the “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” attraction to be evacuated. The fire was quickly contained and no one was injured, reports said.
