Description
High school students in Brussels listen to the testimony of Holocaust survivor Arthur Langerman during an educational event at the CCLJ, a secular Jewish community centre. But Langerman says he is "a total pessimist" on the question of the story continuing to be told. During the event many questions are asked about the war in Gaza, and the exchanges are sometimes heated. "A lot of teachers feel very helpless," says Ina Van Looy, who is in charge of a project combating discrimination at the CCLJ. "It's difficult to untangle the various communication wars between the Israeli government and Hamas or the Palestinian Authority." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
