Description
March 13, 2023 on The Story: By late November of 2020, 27-year-old Derrick Wily had been missing for weeks. His family near the Washington town of Shelton went to the local police for help, but felt that they were brushed off despite coming to them with evidence that Wily may have been killed. When help from the law didn't come right away, the family set out to find Wily on their own — locating both his body and the men responsible. For those involved in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People initiative, it's an all-too-familiar story.
