Romanians head to the polls for the first round of presidential elections, a rerun of November's annulled ballot. "We want stability in the country," says retiree Valeria Badea, outside a polling station in the capital Bucharest. Another voter, Anastasia Gubceac, says "we are thinking of an increasingly better, more prosperous future". Latest opinion polls put George Simion, the far-right leader of the nationalist AUR party, on course to win the first round. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
