Description
Hong Kong's most vocal activist investor says he will "die confident" that he did his best, as the long-time transparency advocate makes what could be his last major public appearance.
David Webb, the 59-year-old founder of Webb-site, says he is running out of treatment options for his metastatic prostate cancer and may only have months to live. During a talk at the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents' Club, he says he hopes others will build on the site, a non-profit portal founded in 1998 where Webb has published articles on economic and corporate governance and tracked filings from the city's corporate and statutory bodies.
