The United Nations Command (UNC) holds a ceremony to celebrate its 75th anniversary at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. The UNC was established in 1950 as a multinational military force supporting South Korea during and after the Korean War.
"The Republic of Korea will forever remember the devoted service of the United Nations Command," said Lee Hee-wan, the Vice Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
