One horse is dead and several others are injured at Horsemen's Campground after severe weather swept across central Indiana Friday evening. Following the storms at Brown County State Park, Holly Lawson, Communications Director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, told 13News that the Horsemen’s Campground and all horse trails are closed for an "undetermined time." However, the remainder of the park is open. People & Animal Learning Services (PALS) also received significant damage to their barn and pastures due to the storms. PALS confirmed that their staff and horses are safe.
