Drivers frequenting 82nd Street on Indianapolis' northeast side will need to find a temporary new route. Citizens Energy Group will be closing East 82nd Street from Hague Road to Christiana Lane, just east of Community Hospital North, beginning on or after Monday, May 5, as part of a sewer rehabilitation project. The closure is expected to last around two weeks. Citizens said signs will detour through traffic from East 82nd Street "via the parallel E 96th Street, by way of Hague and Sargent roads."
