Description
Here's a different take on a school musical performance.
This is a group of students playing otamatones, which are synthesizers shaped like musical notes with little faces.
And at Western Boone Junior-Senior High School, they've formed a whole orchestra with them.
It started as a joke, with podcasters promising to supply a full class set of the instruments to any band teacher willing to seriously use them in a performance.
Only one educator responded — Western Boone's Leslie Banker.
That led to Thursday night's concert featuring the lesser known instrument, playing very famous movie themes.
