The mother of Oaklee Snow has agreed to plea guilty to neglect in the 1-year-old's death. In 2023, Oaklee's body was found in a dresser in a rural Morgan County home months after she was reported missing. On Friday, April 25, Madison Marshall agreed to plea guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death and neglect of a dependent. Her change of plea hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 1. As part of her deal with prosecutors, Marshall agreed to testify against Roan Waters, who was her boyfriend when Oaklee died. Waters is charged with murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, neglect of a dependent and battery. Waters trial is scheduled to begin May 12.
